About Us
The story of Naberauli Wines began in 2018, with a vision to establish Racha-Lechkhumi as a rare and unique wine-producing region on the world wine map. Our factory and laboratory, equipped with the latest technology, are located in the picturesque village of Sadmeli in Racha, Georgia.
This site preserves the remnants of monks’ cellars, dating back to the 17th and 18th centuries — a time when Georgia’s valleys were under siege and the mountains became sanctuaries, safeguarding works of art and the most treasured culture of Georgian people: their vines. It’s as if our ancestors foresaw that wine would one day be the signature mark through which Georgia would introduce itself to the world. In honor of this history, our labels and name reflect the rich traditions unique to this region.
Naberauli wines are crafted from the endemic grape varieties of Racha-Lechkhumi, including Aleksandrouli, Mujuretuli, Saperavi, Dzelshavi, Tsolikouri, Usakhelouri, and Rachuli Mtsvane.
Winemaker
For me, the essence of every great wine begins in the vineyard. As a member of the Naberauli family, my future focus is on deepening our attention to our vineyards. My priority is to implement smart vineyard practices that promote healthy vine growth and allow our grapes to reach their full potential, ensuring the production of exceptional wines.
Through the creation of premium wines and the revival of endemic grape varieties, my goal is to showcase the unique qualities of our terroir. I am confident that integrating modern technologies will enhance our tradition rather than compromise it. By blending traditional methods with innovative techniques, I aim to craft wines rich in heritage and made with the utmost care.
